Dreamforce 2015 is now on our doorstep so it’s time to start planning for the most productive and exciting week of our working life. As Dreamforce veterans, we’re ready to let you in on all the secrets to booking Dreamforce sessions using the Dreamforce Session Builder and a much needed winning strategy.

Time vs Location

An important thing to remember before planning your sessions is researching their location. If one of the sessions is five floors up in a hotel and the next is a block away in the Moscone Centre, then you will need to plan travelling time into your schedule. Top Tip – Long queues are a norm especially when there’s a celebrity speaker so be sure to get there early for a much-needed seat!

Session Savvy

The Dreamforce Session Builder is set up to help you navigate around sessions by product, job role, subject matter and seniority. Be aware that a lot of the popular sessions like Analytics Ninjas or Pardot Marketing Automation are held multiple times so research the times and dates before committing yourself and missing out on another session. Top tip – Remember you won’t get to do everything on the list; your Dreamforce time is precious so attend the sessions that are most important to you.

Roll on Enrolling

Once you’ve decided on a session that you want to attend, click the ‘enrol’ button and that session will automatically show up on your agenda. Top tip – sessions get full quickly so book your spot ASAP. If a session that you’re interested in is full up, don’t get into a pre-Dreamforce panic. Select the walk-in option and you’ll most likely get in, it’s just probable you’ll be standing.
