Ebsta Release Notes (Version 1.156.15)

Product News
We’ve just released an exciting new update that includes a new hover over search feature, the blue Ebsta bar working on every optimised website and the pre-population of key fields when creating a new Case from an email.

Hover Search

No need for manual searches or right-click search. Users can now hover over names in Gmail to automatically run searches against Salesforce. This feature is really powerful when you receive an email with multiple people copied in. Simply hover over the names to run a search.

Ebsta Bar

Ebsta’s blue bar is now supported on all Ebsta’s optimised websites (from Data.com to Zoominfo), so users can benefit from the immediate key insight it offers wherever they’re working. Better still, it also works with right-click search!

Creating Cases

A growing number of users wanted to create Cases in Ebsta directly from an email. We’ve made their lives easier by pre-populating some of the standard Case fields in Ebsta with information available within the email. For example: – Email Subject into the Case Subject – Email Body into the Description – Related Contact into the ContactID field – Related Account into the AccountID field This update should automatically filter through, but if it doesn’t please go to Chrome Settings > Extensions > Ensure Developer mode is checked at the top > Click Update Extensions now. Enjoy the new Ebsta update!
