Latest Ebsta Gmail Release including Mass Email Campaigns (Version 1.157.53)

Product News

We’ve just released a comprehensive update (version 1.157.44) that focuses on new features within our automated email campaign functionality. Please be aware that it could take up to 12 hours for the updates to filter through to your account.

New Functionality

Mass Email Campaigns (up to 250 contacts)

  • Ability for users to send a campaign from within Gmail to multiple recipients
  • New ‘Recipients tab’ allows for contacts to be added manually or automatically from compose window
  • CSV tab allows a user to import a list of contacts from CSV file
  • Salesforce tab allows contacts to be added from salesforce lists (contacts or leads)

Support for Email Tracking

All emails in a campaign will now be tracked – including opens and link clicks. Email performance can be digested in the same way as you did previously with individual emails.

Specify your emails to be sent on weekdays only

Support for Gmail Send Later

When you are starting an automated email campaign you can now specify the Start Time from compose window or Campaign window (borrowing functionality from Gmail Send Later).

Support for Send and Add

You can now Send and Add to Salesforce for all emails in a campaign (currently for single recipients only).

Support for Email Threading

Send follow-ups as replies in the same thread option check box and default subject line to re: same as the first email.

General Improvements and Fixes

Calendar Sync

– Efficiency improvements to decrease the number of Salesforce API calls used in the salesforce calendar sync update process
– Increased stability and consistency in syncing event updates.

Support for Company Mailmerge field

You are now able to insert Company Name as a merge field in your email templates. It presently requires you to add the Company Name within the start campaign window, so is not recommended for use in mass campaigns (we will address this soon).

General Fixes

Improved interoperability with HubSpot, Clearbit and Trimless Chrome Extensions.

User Interface

Complex Add and Salesforce Email Templates now match our new styling.
