4 Ways to Get the Most Out of London’s Calling 2018

London’s Calling 2018
Events, Salesforce Related
In just under two weeks, Salesforce users from all over will come together for London’s Calling 2018. This is the largest Salesforce community-led event in Europe and is already sold out for this year. As such, you can expect much less promotion and selling of Salesforce products. Instead, you will discover useful and inspiring ways of using the Salesforce platform and network with the Salesforce community in the UK.

To make the most of this opportunity, follow these four tips:

1. Know the 5 W’s

WHO: Come meet a diverse mix of Salesforce MVPs, User group leaders, #AwesomeAdmins, developers, AppExchange Partners, and folks from all parts of the Salesforce Ohana.

WHAT:  A Salesforce community event run by the community for the community. This one day event will includes six tracks of talks throughout the day with over 40 presenters.

WHEN: Friday, February 16th, 2018 – 08:30 – 20:00

WHERE: London, UK – CodeNode, Moorgate – 10 South Pl, London EC2M 7EB, UK (view in Google maps)

WHY: Learn from the best, meet the experts, and have a blast!

2. Build your agenda

With so much great content packed into a single day, you’ll want to plan your agenda ahead of time. Registration opens at 8:30, but it doesn’t hurt to arrive early and join the queue. Once you’re in, grab a coffee or tea sponsored by MakePositive and find a seat for the opening remarks.

The sessions take place in the morning and afternoon across six rooms. You won’t be able to attend all of them, so research which sessions you’d like to attend beforehand and create an agenda that works. If you’ve found two session that interest you but have conflicting times, don’t worry! The sessions will be recorded and available on the London’s Calling official YouTube channel.

Be sure to check out the Demo Jam! There is time built into the schedule for demo jam during which no session will be held, so there’s no reason not to attend. See which brands are participating:

The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Sue Black, OBE, who was named in the list of top 50 women in tech in Europe and nominated as the 119th most influential woman in the world. Last year, Dr. Black received the Social Impact ABIE Award at The Grace Hopper Celebration in recognition of the positive impact her work is having on women, technology and society.

She currently sits on the Government’s new advisory board for improving digital services.

Finally, no Salesforce event is complete without a party. The after party is sponsored by Accenture and runs from 18:00 – 20:00. Get your weekend started among Ohana!
