The #1 Strategy for Dreamforce Follow-Ups

You’ve done all that great networking at Dreamforce workshops, activities and booking useful sessions. You have a stack of business cards in your pocket and useful notes on the back. Now, you need to follow up with these bad boys before you both lose interest in communication or you simply forget.

No Hesitation

When you’re back at the hotel room, take the opportunity to show an interest. Write up an email and send it on to your new contacts. Personalise it, engage in conversation and tell them it was a pleasure to meet them. You’ll be on your way to building budding relationships before you know it.

Homeward Bound

You’ve survived the Dreamforce phenomenon and you’re massively excited to go back to work. This is the day where you can catch up with all those contacts whilst the San Fran fun is still fresh in your mind. Give them a call, discuss the event and see where your business relationship can go from there. There’s nothing wrong with taking a little part of Dreamforce home with you.

Clever Campaign

You’re a Salesforce genius so why not create a Campaign in Salesforce to plan, manage and track how you’re going to communicate with these contacts. Maybe you want to send out a joint follow-up email, a call to action or add them to your newsletter. Whatever you decide to achieve, you’ll be clever to campaign.

Meet-up Magic

Salesforce arrange meet-ups that you can attend to follow up with some of those fellow Dreamforce-goers. Hop along, grab a drink and jump headfirst into some questions. Find out more about the attendees – who they are, what they’re there for and how your product/service could help. You might even get a double win and meet other people that could be looking for exactly what you have to offer. That’s the magic of a meet-up.
