3 Ways to Sync Emails to Salesforce with Ebsta

Over 205 million emails are sent every day and the number is only growing. Email is a multifunctional tool; you don’t just use it to communicate; you use it to market, perform project functions, provide sales support, approach new leads, fix appointments, design your calendar, collaborate with teams and so much more.

On the other hand, Salesforce attempts to integrate all teams around one CRM platform so that every employee can interact with their customers like a single company. However, in reality, teams don’t record all email activities in Salesforce; it’s time-consuming to manually log all emails and is simply a tedious task.

So now it’s more important than ever to make sure this information is recorded consistently and accurately in Salesforce to successfully understand activities and increase effective collaboration between departments. But with so many options for ensuring emails are in Salesforce, how do you know which is the right one?

With this in mind, Ebsta has created an integration tool that automatically syncs emails to Salesforce. Here is a walkthrough of three ways to sync emails to Salesforce…

How to sync emails to Salesforce from a Mailbox

There are three main ways to add emails to Salesforce from a Mailbox:
1. Manually via :
– Lightning Add
– Advanced Add

2. Automatic/Native Sync

3. Ebsta Team (Dynamic)

Manual

Ebsta Inbox offers users two ways to manually add emails to Salesforce. These are:

Lightning Add
Ebsta’s Lightning Add function is used when users have a matching record in Salesforce.

For instance, if an email is received from a customer that already exists in Salesforce, they now have the option to manually add this email into Salesforce, without logging into Salesforce itself.

Once the email has been added to Salesforce, users can view the email in the Activities History section against the record.

• Advanced Add

Ebsta’s Advanced Add function enables users to relate the email to a specific record in Salesforce. This option gives users more control of how an email is added to Salesforce. Users can pick multiple Salesforce records or custom objects, add custom fields and include attachments.

Automatic/Native Sync

Ebsta’s Native Sync allows users to automatically identify emails that match to a specific Contact or Lead and relates it to Salesforce. We also, uniquely, have the ability to customise how emails match (based on specific terms).

Just don’t forget, if the record isn’t in Salesforce, you’ll miss out on the emails being added.

Ebsta Team

This function allows users to capture a 360° view of their customers in Salesforce. Ebsta Team allows users to connect to a service account, and dynamically bring company wide information together. This tool maps emails to any record as you browse Salesforce, allows users to go back historically, and discover missing records and emails that relate to people that aren’t yet in Salesforce.

AND, above all that…

Ebsta team automatically uncovers missing and out-of-date records from the email signature, identifies out-of-office and hard bounces, and analyse activity levels to highlight the strongest relationships and measure engagement.
